"Align the side notch with the thermometer at the front, and set over the top opening. Secure using the pre-attached nut and bolt"

Fouls on the lifting handle for charcoal access and handle opposite outer edge. The video shows it sitting in place. Have I got the correct heat deflector for this mode?
