They both allow you to cook at high temperatures. However, gas-powered pizza ovens heat up quicker than wood-fired ovens and produce neither ash nor soot.
Wood-fired pizzas taste delicious because woodsmoke infuses within the base, and the high temperature causes the crust to crisp and bubble.
Once your wood-fired pizza oven has reached optimal cooking temperature, it will take between 90 seconds and two minutes to cook one pizza – depending on its size and thickness. Top tip: Regularly rotate your pizza to ensure it is evenly cooked.
We recommend using propane to power your gas pizza oven. Just so you know, 0.5kg of propane will give you roughly two hours of cooking time.
