Question from Daniel Bailey: Asked on 12/10/2022 Can ferrous and non ferrous pans be used on this hob ?
Hello Daniel
This hob is an induction hob and induction hobs only work with pots and pans that contain ferrous metal in the base. Full stainless steel, aluminium, copper, terracotta or pyrex don't contain ferrous material, so they won't work.
To check if a pan will work use a magnet if the magnet sticks it will work with an induction hob.
