Hi. Thank you for your question. The sink is interchangeable which will allow you to position the drainer left/right. The tap holes on granite/composite sinks are usually pre-punched and will need knocking out by a tradesperson. The reason this is so it allows a customer to choose their drainer position and then they can choose which side to knock the tap hole out on. I hope this helps.
