Question from Fred: Asked on 12/02/2014 I need a relatively compact desiccant dehumidifier to be left running in 'auto' mode in a cold equipment trailer for long periods (set at about 40% RH). It is essential that if the power fails and then comes back the dehumidifier restarts without intervention. It also must come with a hose for continuous operation. Does this one meet these requirements? Also if you sell a different model which would be more appropriate please advise.

We are poor sleepers- I would place an order if sure that this would not disturb us at night placed downstairs away from bedrooms. RELATED QUESTION : do you offer a money back,return facility for goods which prove unsuitable but not faulty?.
Also, the desiccant dehumidifiers are a lot quieter than the compressor units. So if the AM-DD8L is too loud, they all will be. That is as quiet as this technology is going to get.
there is a 7 days returns period for unwanted items, 28 for faulty.
