Question from Ben meadows: Asked on 01/01/2025 How do I open the draw at the bottom of my indesut tumble dryer. It's showing me the handle needs to be upwards but when I do that it still won't open
To access the bottom drawer on your Indesit YTM1182XUK Heat Pump Tumble Dryer, follow these steps:
Open the Lower Door: Gently pull open the lower door located at the base of the dryer.
Adjust the Handle Position: Ensure the handle is in the upward position, as indicated.
Remove the Bottom Filter: Firmly grasp the handle and pull the bottom filter out towards you.
If the drawer remains stuck, it might be due to lint buildup or debris obstructing the mechanism. In this case, try gently wiggling the handle while pulling to dislodge any obstructions. Regular cleaning of the filter and surrounding area can prevent such issues.
