What our experts think...

our expert review Andy Product Expert

The built-in speaker and microphone is a nice little touch, especially if you have pets, as it lets me see and hear exactly what's going on at home. It's great because I can tell my cats to stop scrapping or using my sofa as an expensive scratching post, anywhere, anytime.

What stands out

  • See exactly whats going on at home 24/7 from your smartphone on the Tuya app
  • View everything in clear HD 720p detail - day or night!
  • Its our smallest Wifi camera to date!
  • Set motion alerts and get notifications on smartphone when something moves past the camera
  • Hear what's happening at home or talk to your pets with the built-in microphone and speaker
  • Quick and easy to set up in a matter of minutes

The details

This mini yet mighty WiFi camera lets you check in on your home, family and pets from anywhere using your smartphone. You can manually move the camera in almost every direction - up, down, left or right - so you can see exactly whats going on in every corner of your room and not have to worry about any blindspots. The HD camera also offers built-in night vision technology that enables you to see clearly throughout the day and even at night! Plus, there's also a built-in speaker and microphone, which means youll be able to hear exactly what's going on at home and even speak to loved ones - ideal if you're using it to keep an eye on your kids or pets.

As for setting up the camera, its super easy and only takes a couple of minutes - Just download the app to your smartphone, pair it to the camera, connect to Wi-Fi and you're ready to go. Once set up, you can create motion alerts that send notifications to your smartphone when the camera picks up any movement - after all, who has time to sit there and watch a live camera stream all day?! Plus, you can adjust the sensitivity of motion detection so that it doesn't go off every time your dog or cat walks by the camera, only when a person does. The camera also lets you use an microSD card to record your footage onto and watch it back on your laptop if necessary.

Question from SanDar: Asked on 02/10/2019 When the card capacity is reached (you mention getting about two days' worth on a 32GB card), does recording stop or does it continue to record, overwriting the older files? In other words, at any given time, do I have a record of the 48 hours (or so) immediately preceding?

Answer from Haaroon: Answered on 07/10/2019
Hi SanDar,

Precisely as you said, you will always have access to the previous 48 Hours worth of recordings, as the SD Card will always begin overwriting prior recordings.

Thanks,
Haaroon
