Question from mandy: Asked on 02/09/2011 Just so I know exactly what I'm looking for, can I buy a normal freeview tv, set up to freesat cable (freesat aerial on roof) buy a Humax Foxsat & have freesat on this tv. Great to hear other comments re magic eye, sick of ridiculous cost of Sky.

Answer from jeremy: Answered on 05/09/2011
You need a satelite dish for freesat

Question from matt caton: Asked on 26/04/2011 i currently have sky + tv and all the programs i watch are on freeview. my contract has expired so i can leave them no probs. we have tv's in several rooms in the house and use 'magic eyes' which allow us to change the channel etc.. with the remote in each room. if i buy one of these boxes is the connection/wiring easy enought to simply swap box for box? will i still be able to change the channel in other rooms with my set up?

Answer from Ross: Answered on 26/04/2011
very similar yes. If you have sky + or sky +HD then you will notice that you have 2 feeds on the back of the box. These 2 feeds will be present on the Freesat box so it would just be a case of switching the 2 boxes over. You should not need to touch the Magic eyes as these should accept the changes automatically.

Question from scotvoddy: Asked on 12/04/2011 If the box breaks down and I have the 3 year extended warranty how do I go about getting it repaired/fixed?
Also exactly what exactly does the extended warranty cover or not cover as the case may be., e.g. If the box is beyond repair etc will you replace it with a new one?

Answer from Jonathan: Answered on 12/04/2011
You would contact us, the warranty covers faults and mechanical breakdown and if it can't be fixed it would be replaced.

Question from Ant: Asked on 05/04/2011 Hello can we get a bigger hard drive in it from you say 500gig??

Answer from jeremy: Answered on 07/04/2011
The new ones will be coming through with 500gb hard drives

Question from Dermot: Asked on 04/01/2010 Hello I read the spec on the Humax Foxsat HDR 320GB Freesat Recorder - in the absence of a dvd disc record option on the box, is there another option to transfer say a movie on to a dvd?

Answer from jeremy: Answered on 04/01/2010
Your best option would be to buy the Panasonic DMR-BS750EBK which has BD recorder as well as twin freesat & 250gb HD
