The BeefEater Discovery 1500 4 Burner Built In Gas BBQ's rollback hood is a double layer roasting hood, with a integral temperature gauge, that helps maintain the consistent temperatures which are ideal for indirect cooking so roasting poultry or larger cuts of meat to capture those unique barbecue tastes can be easily achieved creating the perfect roast on every occasion.

Sitting under the hood there is a spacious quality cast iron cooking surface with cast iron being chosen for it's heat distribution properties and consistent performance evenly spreading and retaining the heat for better results. The cast iron cook-top is coated for long lasting rust resistance. Stainless steel flame tamers/vaporizers then sit between the cooking surface and the burners underneath the grill section of the cooking surface minimising the likelihood of food tainting flare ups and vaporzing excess cooking residues to create that all important barbecue taste.
