Steam washing machines work just like non-steam washing machines, but have the added benefit of wash cycles including a steam functionality. Steam washers have water-only wash cycles, combined steam and water cycles and a steam freshening cycle. These washers use less power and less water than conventional models. This is due to only needing a little bit of water to create a lot of steam, which expands to take up more volume within the drum. As less water is being used less energy is needed to heat it up. Steam is by far the most intense form of cleaning because steam molecules are 1600 times smaller than water molecules allowing them to get deep into the fabric and work harder on dirt. A steam washing machine will help power out stubborn stains to keep your clothes looking new for longer.
